Their uniforms are worn out, their hearts full of strength.

His wife kisses them off to school.

Scene 2: Study Time at Night

INT. HOME – NIGHT

The children study with a faint oil lamp.

Ravi gets home late, sweaty and muddy.

He sits in silence next to them, tired but proud.

Sita fetches water. Ravi declines food so the children can feed.

Scene 3: The Struggle Deepens

Ravi momentarily falls while lugging a heavy bag.
